BuildSite Mobile is optimized for quickly searching our 20,000-construction product database to find the right product for the job. As with BuildSite Submittals, Mobile users search 5 different ways. Look for products by:

Find
Each product on BuildSite has an individual detail page with datasheets listed by type: product data, MSDS, installation guides, code reports and more. When you’re on the jobsite, check the manufacturer’s intent by opening datasheets and viewing them from your mobile phone.

Select datasheets to create a custom package of product information.
Message
Send your package via email to customers or other members of the project team, right from your browser. You can add or remove product data at the message compose screen to make sure you have all the information you need.

Is BuildSite Mobile an App?
BuildSite Mobile is not an app. It is a mobile-optimized website available on your mobile browser at m.buildsite.com.
Do I have to download anything to use it?
You do not have to download any software to your phone to use BuildSite Mobile. Simply navigate to your mobile browser and enter “m.buildsite.com.”
On what devices does BuildSite Mobile work?
The mobile site can be accessed from the browsers of any iPhone, Android, iPad, or BlackBerry. We find that users prefer the appearance and ease of BuildSite Mobile on iPhone and Android devices over BlackBerry phones, however.
How do I get a login?
Use your BuildSite Submittals username and password to login to BuildSite Mobile. If you do not have a BuildSite Submittals account, sign up here. We have three subscription levels to meet your individual needs: Free, Professional, and Enterprise. Learn more about our subscription levels.
How is BuildSite Mobile different from BuildSite Submittals?
BuildSite Mobile is BuildSite Submittals, optimized for mobile browsers. Use the same login information to access your custom workspace from either portal.
BuildSite Mobile provides users mobile access to virtually all of the same powerful software tools available in BuildSite Submittals. Users can search BuildSite’s comprehensive, 20,000-product database and build basic packages of product information (full submittal templates are not supported). Packages can then be messaged (emailed or faxed) from the BuildSite interface. Send product datasheets as message attachments or as a unique URL. Professional and Enterprise accounts retain message archiving, and users can choose to save packages built through BuildSite Mobile.
Can I access my BuildSite Submittals files from BuildSite Mobile?
Yes, Professional and Enterprise accounts can access all saved files, saved packages, address book contacts, sent messages, draft messages, and uploaded documents from their BuildSite Submittals accounts when logged in to BuildSite Mobile. To create a Professional or Enterprise BuildSite Submittals account, sign up here. If you would like to upgrade your account from a Free Edition to a Professional or Enterprise Edition, click “Upgrade” in the upper right corner of your screen when you are logged in to BuildSite Submittals.
What is the difference between BuildSite Mobile and Mobile Product Search?
Mobile Product Search is a site optimized for users of www.buildsite.com who do not have logins to BuildSite Submittals. Available at mobile.buildsite.com, Mobile Product Search provides access to all the products and documents in the BuildSite database, minus the messaging and submittals tools that our login users retain.
